Thriving, Not Just Surviving: Healing with Music, Nature, and Love with author Michael Skinner - Plaistow Public Libray

A thoughtful and supportive presentation with author and musician Michael Skinner. Michael will share from his newly released memoir "The Lunchbox Theory"  and reflect on lessons learned in healing from trauma, abuse, and mental health challenges, alongside vital statistics and personal insight.  The 45 minute presentation will include a short reading, music woven throughout, and fifteen minutes [more if needed] for conversation and questions. This event is best suited for adults.  Copies of Skinner's book will be available for purchase at the event.  

This presentation is designed to be trauma-informed, choice-centered, and community-focused.
